Music Futures helps young musicians from the greater Wellington region to realise their potential. We provide financial awards, performance opportunities and chances to work alongside some of New Zealand's finest professional musicians.
The applications for the 2023 Music Futures financial awards are now open. We invite any young musicians from ages 10 to 18 to apply for an individual or group award. Please encourage any students you have who would benefit from financial support in their music making (e.g. music tuition, instrument repair, music purchase) to apply. Applications close on 31 March, 2023 and awards will be notified at the start of Term 2.
This year the application process is again online. Teachers please can you direct your students or their parents/caregivers to fill out the online application form through this link: Applicant's form
All applicants for the financial awards will need to ask their teacher to fill out a referee form. Please use this link to fill in the referee form for your students:

You will need to fill in a separate online form for each student. You can do this by opening this link as many times as you need.
